Online Coursework
You will have access to 6 blocks of online coursework. Each block consists of 5 weeks that are filled with intensive study; and each week has about 5 hours of content with a mix of pre-recorded practices and lectures, homework, and self reflection delving into anatomy, alignment, meditation, breathwork, philosophy, and more -- all of which lays the foundation for your teaching.
You will be given weekly assignments consisting of yoga practices, online lectures, review sessions, practice teaching, pop quizzes, and recommendations for your personal practice. You should plan for ~5 hours a week of coursework. Approximately two hours of this will include yoga practice, so you will also want to factor in time for your regular yoga practice. During the last block of training, there will be plenty of asana review and practice teaching with valuable feedback to hone your skills as a teacher prior to your final practical exams.
You can go at your own pace through this pre-recorded content. We recommend allocating 5 hours per week to complete this section in 30 weeks. The blocks are released by this schedule:
- Block 1 & 2: available February 1st
- Block 3: available March 1st
- Block 4: available April 1st
- Block 5: available May 1st
- Block 6: available June 1st
This allows us to keep registration open until June 1st with still plenty of time to complete the online coursework.
