ARRIVAL: Please arrive at the Cripple Creek Ballroom – 2nd Floor in time to attend the first asana practice at 7am on Sunday, October 11th. If you’re staying at the hotel, check in is available at 4pm.

DEPARTURE: We complete the training an hour earlier on Friday, October 16th with an evening lecture from 3-5pm. If you’re staying at the hotel, please be ready to check out of your room by 11am – you are welcome to leave your packed luggage in the Cripple Creek Ballroom.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • When booking flights, please keep in mind that the training consists of full days beginning at 7am on Sunday, October 11th and ending an hour earlier on Friday, October 16th at 5pm. The typical daily times are approximately 7am-6pm, so we advise planning your travel itinerary carefully to ensure you do not miss out on any valuable training time. All of the practices and lectures count towards your required hours. Please consult the attendance policy on required training participation for accreditation.

  • We recommend flying into Denver International Airport which is a 35 minute car ride to Embassy Suites by Hilton Denver Downtown Convention Center. Transportation to the event venue is arranged by the participant (car service, rideshare, public transportation, etc.).
  • Please check if you need updated travel visas/documents, vaccinations, medical notes for your medication or any other requirements for traveling to/from Denver, CO, USA. These arrangements are your responsibility to arrange in advance.
  • It is recommended that participants acquire travel insurance for self-protection in case of illness, injury or weather disruptions that prevent them from attending.
  • Because each of you will need to source your own transportation, we have created a discussion board within a private forum just for this event. Scroll up to say hello & introduce yourself to fellow attendees.
  • Before the training, please review the following online courses: Conducting a Therapeutic Evaluation and Recognizing Red Flags in a Therapeutic Yoga Setting. Both of these courses are complimentary to teachers enrolled in the 500/1000hr programs. To access this complimentary curriculum, simply return to the courses section while logged into your Yoga Medicine account.
  • Please pack the following props as they will not be provided for this training:
    • 1 mat
    • 1 block (normal size: 4x6x9)
    • 1 blanket or large bath towel
    • 1 foam roller (core roller or collapsible roller)
    • any additional props that you require
  • You will also receive a complimentary MFR toolkit with an assortment of MFR balls at this training, so no need to pack your own. Although you can still bring your own personal MFR kit if you wish.
  • Notebook & pen – we will provide a manual with images and text with minimal space on each page. If you are a keen notetaker, please bring an extra notepad – the manuals are sparse on space.
  • Don’t forget to pack a water bottle & comfortable clothing for this training.

  • Participants are responsible for the coordination of their own meals. Since this training is located in Downtown Denver, we will have a 1-hour breakfast break and 2-hour lunch break each day to give you time to stroll to an array of nearby coffee shops, delis, and restaurants. Each day will wrap up in time for dinner so you will have the evening to experience Denver’s vibrancy.
  • Please note the meeting space will be in the Cripple Creek Ballroom – 2nd Floor at Embassy Suites.
  • 7-9am: Asana Practice
  • 9-10am: Break
  • 10am-1pm: Lecture
  • 1-3pm: Break
  • 3-6pm: Lecture & Therapeutic Mini-Practice
  • Travel, accommodation, and airport transfers are not included in this training; you are free to choose whatever type of accommodation you wish. Here is an option that we have organized for this training’s group:

  • This yoga teacher training counts as 50 hours towards your 500-hour/1000-hour Yoga Medicine certification. Directly following the yoga teacher training you will be invited to take an online exam to receive your certificate of completion.
  • Because this is an in-person training, you have 30 days to complete this online exam after it becomes available once the training concludes. Please complete the exam by Wednesday, November 18th to ensure you receive full credit for the training; if you haven’t completed the exam by Wednesday, November 18th, you will lose access to the online training portal (including the exam) and will not be able to receive the 50hrs and certificate of completion.
  • The deposit payment of $500 is always non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • There are no refunds or transfers of payments after August 11, 2026 due to the fact that we are required to make payments to reserve the event venue and secure training materials for the group. We realize that some extenuating circumstances beyond your control may prohibit you from attending; however, we cannot make exceptions regardless of the circumstance due to the non-recoverable payments that we deliver in advance. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance which covers refunds due to medical emergencies and other difficult circumstances.
