We are so excited to invite you to our second Yoga Medicine Innovation Conference! This virtual conference will focus on innovative new techniques and research-informed approaches to yoga therapeutics, along with new adaptations of traditional practices for modern issues. Showcasing our experienced teachers and specialists (in healthcare, research and yoga), each presenter will share their research, experience and yoga techniques related to specific issues or demographics in their field of expertise with applications to therapeutic yoga.

We created this conference to bring a high level of expertise and knowledge in various fields to the yoga world from our experienced teachers, researchers, PhD’s and healthcare providers. Our purpose with this conference is to educate and inspire teachers around the globe with specialized therapeutic information they can use with their students right away.

This Innovation Conference will count as 23 hours of online education towards your 500-hour/1000-hour Yoga Medicine certification. Directly following the conference you will be invited to take an online exam to receive your certificate of completion and course hours.

Tiffany is a yoga therapeutic specialist, author, licensed acupuncturist and Chinese Medicine provider.

She’s trained over 15,000 yoga teachers, athletes, medical professionals, physical therapists, bodyworkers and coaches on how to fuse anatomy, western medicine and cutting-edge research with traditional yoga practices to therapeutically support individuality and holistic wellness.

Today, she’s dedicated to helping teachers and students nourish their health and feel their best through a combination of modern science, traditional modalities, and experience.

Rachel Land

E-RYT500, YACEP, Yoga Medicine® Therapeutic Specialist & Senior Teacher

Rachel Land is a yoga teacher, teacher trainer and writer based in Queenstown, New Zealand. Her approach blends traditional yoga practices with extensive study in anatomy, physiology, sports training and therapeutics.

Rachel’s fascination lies in fusing research and tradition together to create a practice that supports and empowers each individual. Her strength is her ability to bring theory to life, making complex topics in the yoga and wellness sphere feel simple and accessible.

She runs workshops and anatomy trainings around the world, regularly contributes to other teacher trainings, and co-teaches several of the Yoga Medicine® 500hr orthopedic modules!

The Yoga Medicine Innovation Conference is designed for yoga teachers, dedicated practitioners, healthcare providers, and anyone interested with a deep interest in yoga therapeutics.

If you are new to Yoga Medicine and would like to join the 500-hour program, then please complete the online application. Upon successful completion of this training, the 23 ‘non-contact’ hours would automatically be applied towards your 500-hour.

If you are enrolled in Yoga Medicine’s 500-hour or 1000-hour program, then this online conference counts as 23 hours of online education towards your certification, as well as continuing education hours with Yoga Alliance!

If you are a yoga teacher interested in pursuing continued education with Yoga Medicine, then you have the option to apply to our 500-hour program (in which case, these teacher training hours will automatically apply towards your 500-hour certification process).
