Yoga for Older Beginners

One of the fastest growing demographics of new yoga practitioners is students over the age of 50. That means yoga teachers who offer privates or all-levels classes, it is essential to be equipped with the tools and knowledge to accommodate older students.

This online course, Yoga for Older Beginners, provides a context for yoga teachers to frame your approach to working with older students which requires consideration for how to accommodate past injuries, common medical considerations, and other factors that make this demographic so unique. Your instructor — Rachel Land — designed this course with an insightful blend of anatomy, medical research, and teaching experience to provide tangible examples and practical tips for teaching.
