Research shows that gratitude is consistent with increased happiness, better health, ability to cope with challenges, and experiencing more positive emotions. Cultivating gratitude can be a simple practice of appreciating what you currently have instead of grasping for what you don’t have and giving thanks for where you feel satisfied with life, rather than fixating on what’s wrong. This meditation practice guides you through this kind of reflection and self enquiry; the more you practice cultivating gratitude the more natural it will feel and you will be able to shift into this mental state more easily in order to reap the benefits of this practice.
