The 1000HR Yoga Medicine designation also includes a research project of choice that reflects your specific interests, whether that be a specific population (seniors, kids, etc), a therapeutic modality (restorative, MFR, pranayama, etc), a specific disease/illness/injury (Parkinson’s, hypothyroid, hip dysplasia, labral tears, lymphatic system, hypermobility disorders, etc) or a system of the body (nervous system regulation, optimizing lymphatics, cardiovascular health, etc). This research topic will culminate in a case study thesis where you will present your work and findings.

Our 1000HR program allows teachers to work closely with students and develop a finely trained eye so they can work one-on-one with clients and create powerfully effective individualized yoga programs.

Caroline Wybar

500-Hour Yoga Medicine Teacher

“If you are looking for a training that explores the intersection between traditional practice and cutting-edge research, look no further.  The Yoga Medicine 1000-hour curriculum is robust in scope and unparalleled in terms of its depth, erudition, and overarching emphasis on practical application.  This program requires hard work, persistence, and patience but, if you stay the course, you will be amply rewarded for your efforts in ways that are unimaginable at the beginning and inevitable at the end.  The 1000-Hour training with Yoga Medicine has opened more doors for me that I could have ever dreamed of and set me on a different trajectory as a teacher.

I am forever grateful to Tiffany and her team for providing me with such a comprehensive foundation that I feel confident in working with any individual no matter how convoluted the challenges they may be facing.  If you are looking for a program that is going to give you a cookie-cutter approach for addressing a specific injury or condition, this is not it.  This program requires you to roll up your sleeves and dig into the learning process so that you no longer need to rely on specific protocols but can think on your feet and respond to the person in front of you with greater nuance, sensitivity and skill.  I cannot recommend this program highly enough.”
