Erica is an Indiana-based certified 500-hr Yoga Medicine® teacher and Yoga Medicine® Therapeutic Specialist. She leads workshops, YTTs, group classes, private clients, and loves working with the Yoga Medicine® team while continuing her education through the 1000-hour Master Teacher Training Program.
Erica has a combined bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and communication as well as a master’s degree in exercise physiology. She found yoga unwillingly in college when her doctor suggested yoga as a stress-reduction technique. After a few years of practice and acknowledging her passion for therapeutics in yoga, Erica decided it was time to take the plunge into the world of teaching yoga. Since then, she has taught more than 2000 hours of classes, became a Yoga Alliance continuing education provider, and accumulated many hours of training in Anatomy and Physiology, Postural Restoration, Myofascial Release, Trauma-Informed Yoga, Amputee Support, Yoga Philosophy, Vinyasa Yoga, Meditation, and Restorative Yoga.
Erica is known for her inspirational instructing style and her passion for helping people live their best lives. You can learn more about Erica’s offerings here: www.ericayeary.com @ericamillsyeary
