Active Movement for Stress Release
Stress isn’t necessarily a bad thing- it can help us get things done and be productive. However, it’s unhelpful if stress piles up to the point that the mental headspace becomes cluttered and frenzied. This class is to help you channel some of that energy into a more productive state, but rather than trying to tamp it down, we’re simply redirecting it and putting it to good use! Aside from harnessing movement to blow off a little steam, we’ll also use the breath to disperse any feelings of jitteriness and bring the nervous system into a more balanced state. You’ll leave your mat feeling energized but calm. Optional props: 1 or 2 blankets.
