Lat & Glute Connection

The lats and glut max are powerful, prime movers on the backside of the body that are connected to each other through the thoracolumbar fascia and are often underutilized.This class focuses on restoring balance and healthy function to all three of these structures, in order to strengthen the back-side of the body, support the neck and shoulders and stabilise the pelvis.This 60 minute all-levels practice also incorporates some yoga conditioning and myofascial release. You will need a block, two tennis or myofascial release balls, a blanket if you practice on a smooth floor surface or a plate or frisbee if practicing on carpet.
