Suffer no more, PMS is not mandatory! Here are some of my favorite flow classes to stir up circulation during the premenstrual (luteal) phase of the cycle. In Chinese Medicine many PMS symptoms are associated with stagnation and during this luteal phase it can be really helpful to support circulation. Really any flowing classes you enjoy (vigorous or mellow) can be helpful the week or two prior to the period (check out our Continuous Flow category). If you experience regular PMS symptoms I recommend focusing on continuous flow classes for the 2 weeks prior to your period and try to get it in regularly even if it's just a short practice. But find something you enjoy. I love the desk sitters classes when I want something more grounded & mellow and when I need some more vigorous movement I like the conditioning classes that get my heart pumping (shake things up, let that s#*! go, just do it). This list goes from more mellow at the top to more vigorous at the bottom of the list. Find what you like and repeat for optimal effects. ;)
