E-RYT 500, Yoga Medicine® Therapeutic Specialist
Yoga made possible a miracle of healing in me. Gratitude and a sense of wonder are what animate my teaching today. I believe passionately in the power of yoga to restore health to the body, equanimity to the mind, and vitality to the soul. I love what I do, and I feel a genuine excitement about sharing this practice with others.
I believe that each of us has within ourselves a wellspring of peace. To live from this place is to live a life of great freedom and joy. My hope as an instructor is to create an environment in which students can connect to a sense of wholeness within. It is my honor to be there to witness this journey and to serve as a gentle and affirming guide along the way.
Caroline embraced yoga as a way of life in 2010 and has devoted herself wholeheartedly to its study and practice ever since. She remains forever grateful to her primary teachers James Kigar and Judy Weaver for their indelible and ongoing contributions to her learning and growth. Caroline has received and completed over 2,000 hours of formal yoga teacher training. Over the years, she has been fortunate to study with many of the teachers who inspire her most including Tiffany Cruikshank, Kia Miller, Jill Miller, Tom Myers, Tias Little, Brock Cahill, Krista Cahill, Annie Carpenter and Rod Stryker.
From the beginning, Caroline dove into teaching full-time with a quiet fervor that continues only to grow from one year to the next. She has accrued over 9,000 hours of teaching experience offering private instruction and leading group classes, workshops, retreats and teacher trainings both within the U.S. and around the world. She is thrilled to now be teaching weekly local yoga classes in Stonington, Maine.
