Postnatal: Pelvic Floor & Hips Series
Your body undergoes significant changes during pregnancy, labour, and in the postpartum period. These series are designed to support your healing, restore function, and enhance wellbeing as a new parent and after having a baby. The first class is suitable to practice once you are comfortably up and about post birth and with doctor's clearance to return to exercise. The classes start off very gentle with a focus on breath and creating awareness, overcoming the sensation of unfamiliarity to build confidence. The classes progress in duration and challenge; it's recommended to stay with one class until all the exercises feel very easy before advancing to the next class. You can repeat one class a few times a week but making sure to rest if you feel significantly sore or fatigued. These practices can easily be done with baby on the floor with you. This series focuses on the pelvic floor and hips, and there is also a series specifically for the core.
