The Importance of Recovery
Whether we're looking to unwind from the stressors of modern work-life or optimize athletic performance with targeted practices, the notion of recovery is now well and truly entrenched in mainstream conversation. This lecture provides a broad overview of the physiological processes involved in recovery, and discusses the various yoga practices that can be used to promote and support those processes to optimize performance, function, and wellbeing.
