Yoga & Bone Health
This monthly dose provides an overview of the multitude of ways in which yoga can support lifelong bone health. While bone mineral density is often thought of as being synonymous with bone health, the reality is more complex: fracture risk, for example, is multifactorial and includes many variables that can be effectively influenced as part of a yoga practice. We'll discuss various aspects of bone health, and how familiar yoga techniques can be thoughtfully applied to support bone health at any age.
