Yoga for Triathletes Online Course

Course Description

More and more athletes are recognizing the benefit of yoga for athletic performance – both during the season and as a tool for recovery. The sport of triathlon has grown tremendously in the last 15 years and as extreme endurance athletes, triathletes are increasingly interested in alternative methods to improve their performance. A lot of triathletes are encouraged to incorporate yoga into their training, but they end up attending general yoga classes that don’t meet their needs—or in the worst case—put them at risk for injuries.

This online course, Yoga for Triathletes, addresses the unique challenges that triathletes face and how yoga can provide the correct tools to help a triathlete navigate their training, recovery, mental fortitude, and peak performance. Your instructor, Dr. Daya Grant, is a mental performance consultant, a Ph.D. in neuroscience, and a triathlete herself. Dr. Grant designed this course to give yoga teachers the tools to work with triathletes and to give triathletes the insights they need to integrate the full benefits of yoga into their training and recovery regiment.
