Course Description

Yoga is gaining worldwide recognition as a helpful adjunct for athletes as well as dynamic practice in its own right. As the number of yoga practitioners climbs, we are seeing a corresponding increase of yoga injuries. This course, Common Yoga Injuries and Prevention, looks at the most frequently injured areas to assess key movement patterns that are problematic and then establishes helpful movements for a healthy range of motion. Your instructor — Rachel Land — designed this course with an insightful blend of anatomy, physiology, and experienced teaching to provide tangible examples and practical tips for teaching.
