Water Element

In Chinese Medicine the water element is in many ways the most precious of the 5 elements, being responsible for nourishing all the other elements and supporting our endurance, vitality, and longevity. Winter is the season of the water element and the perfect time to support this element. In this video we’ll look at some things to keep in mind to feel your best this season and explore how tapping into some Chinese Medicine wisdom (and some acupressure points) can enhance your yoga practice and quality of life. Below are some classes to help support balance in this element. For teachers interested in a deeper understanding of Chinese Medicine as it relates to teaching yoga and creating individualized therapeutic practices check out our Traditional Chinese Medicine & Yoga Teacher Training.
