With newly added info and techniques, the hip curriculum is one of our core orthopedic modules along with the spine and shoulder modules – all of which are highly recommended for our advanced teachers.

Led by our founder Tiffany Cruikshank & Yoga Medicine® Therapeutic Specialist Rachel Land, this 50hr in-person intensive training takes a deeper look at the anatomy and biomechanics of the hip joint as a basis for learning to effectively evaluate and work with a variety of ailments, including tendonitis, bursitis, piriformis syndrome, labral tears, FAI, impingement, dysplasia, osteoarthritis, hip replacements, and more.

We’ll cover practical principles and work for the hips to eliminate pain, improve function, and increase freedom of movement. Expect insights and applications you can immediately put to use, as well as a subtler understanding of how breath, posture and even emotional state affect this area of the body.

We pride ourselves in bringing the content to life through relevant practices, lectures, mini sessions and reviews along the way to reinforce the information. After completing this training, you will leave with a robust understanding of the hip’s anatomy and how you can apply this knowledge to provide your students with a more impactful, well-rounded approach to hip resilience within a therapeutic yoga setting.
