Powerful Practices: Strength Training Tips from Research & Applications to Yoga
In this monthly dose we’ll look at the importance of strength training through a research lens to focus in on the implications for health span, metabolic function, cognitive function, cancer prevention & prognosis as well as to regulate inflammation and mitochondrial health. Then more importantly we’ll look at how to apply this information specifically to your yoga practice and weekly routines to help enhance your quality of life for decades to come. I’ve also included a 6 week strength and conditioning program to start you off with plenty of suggestions to modify and create a program just for you and to keep creating programs for yourself when you’re done. I would love to hear how it goes in the comments on any of the videos! ;)
