Fountain of Youth
We love digging through new research on slowing down the aging process, which basically means amplifying what our bodies are made to do - be healthy & vibrant! So we’ve created a monthly dose to explore some of these hot topics to optimize your health & wellness, regardless of your age. In this monthly dose we’ll break down some of the different ways a yoga practice can support healthy aging & youthfulness in our muscles, connective tissue, mitochondria, lungs, brain and so much more. We’ve chosen to focus on research based anti-aging practices which entails more movement based practices this month but don’t forget the obvious restorative practices for the nervous system resilience as well as the fascia health, each covered in more depth in a previous monthly dose. Here’s a few of the topics we cover: autophagy, mitochondria, muscular strength, connective tissue health, telomeres, lung capacity, mobility and more. The classes below will help you bring the information to life in your practice as well as the following weekly wellness lineups: Fountain of Youth 1, Fountain of Youth 2, Fountain of Youth 3 and Fountain of Youth 4.
