Growing up with parents as bodyworkers lead to a particular interest in fascial science, contributing to her specialty in orthopedics, pain and myofascial release. She was the first Yoga Medicine® teacher to complete the 1000hr teacher training, examining yoga therapeutics and myofascial release to improve standing stability in older adults.
It’s clear to all her students that Rachel loves what she does and is passionate about empowering others to become their own teacher and wellness advocate. With that aim, she contributes regularly to online platforms including Yoga International, Yoga Journal, Yoga Digest, YogaBasics and Healthline, and through online courses on YogaMedicine.com and online classes at YogaInternational.com.
